Dear Dr Crew,

Thank you for your offer to visit the Diocese of Peru and to help me 
respond to my commitment at made at the Lambeth Conference.

I'm grateful for your kindness but feel that this is not the right moment 
for such a visit and the dialogue you propose. However, I do want to assure 
you that homosexual people are welcome in our churches, as are all human 
beings and I hope they know, through our actions and attitudes, of God's 
love for them.
