Plus another another North American site
I have found that college students who read comic book versions of
Hamlet can sometimes pass plot quizzes but rarely do they want to
read the play itself. Alpha materials that I have seen seem like comic
book versions of scripture, (or at least like Cliff Notes versions) and I fear that those who cut their teeth on
them won't relish the real thing. I may be wrong: This is an alert, not a
final judgment on this, or on any other items listed here.
Some of the developers and chief promoters of Alpha are quite hostile to
lesbigay persons; some who use Alpha materials are our good friends.
